4 Manifestos To Live By… #4 – Incomplete Manifesto For Growth

Manifesto: a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out change.

Manifesto 4 – Incomplete Manifesto for Growth.

I have become increasingly influenced by design thinking in recent years. This design manifesto was first written by Bruce Mau in 1998, articulating his beliefs, strategies, and motivations.

It is chock full [43, count ’em!] of deep thinking, lightly shared. Freewheelin’, obtuse, random, there is forward momentum throughout, replete with forgiveness. Heartening.

My personal favourite? Number 26:

  • Don’t enter awards competitions.
Just don’t. It’s not good for you.
