The cannabis industry is going round in circles month after month, quarter after quarter. It is so depressing.

Write downs, production cuts, international contraction, the slow merger of retail, the slow price reduction, the slow victory of legal over illicit, the walk-away of more celebrity brands and association.

And then this! After 100s of “international expansions” and “international supply agreements”, most LPs have begrudgingly receded from other countries over the last 6 months. And then what happens?! Malta runs out of cannabis!

Never a dull day in cannabis. All the n’er-do-wells, hustlers, scammers, enthusiasts, amateurs and bureaucrats have created a perfect storm of unpredictability. It was why I enjoyed the industry so much! Ha.
