…and a new job.

I recently wrote about leaving Teekay after 12 quite delightful years…

Well, today I started at a new company, Zenabis Global Inc.

It is a big change in some respects, in others very similar.

Similar, in that it is located in the next building to Teekay’s, so my bike commute will be almost identical. Different, in that I will even higher in the sky, with an even better view of downtown Vancouver from the office.

Similar, in that it is the same kind of role and title, heading up the Corporate Communications function. Different, in that the industries could barely be further apart in terms of maturity and change momentum. Canada is at the forefront of the cannabis industry globally.

Zenabis wants to be a cultivator of not just of the product, but the industry outlook and its engagement with a global customer base and community. Global perspective, change agency, emergent narratives…this is my kind of place to belong.
