There Is Tension In The Room. Everything Is How It Should Be.

My work team has been having some great, tense conversations about work, projects, planning, 2015, the future.

We are not in full alignment, there are gaps of understanding and interest and focus. Exactly as it should be. I am no fan of harmony. Only when it is ugly and uncomfortable is there breakthrough.

(And I don’t mean rage and disgust, no. I mean a not-quite-right feeling, an urge to flag discomfort, a willingness to ask for more.)

I am super excited for 2015, consequently. The team wants to reset, reframe, and I am guided by them. Let’s do this thing.
