I attended a Hyper Island event in Vancouver last week and Tim Leake made mention of challenging our thinking in this way:
What are the Frequently Unasked Questions?
Yes. What are those topics that get swept under the rug, or ignored because they are complex, finicky, dull?
I find a lot of people who are interested in the same things as me – organizational design, technology leverage in the workplace and similar – are often conversing and writing and pontificating and arguing about FUQs.
These conversations are a way to work out loud on common issues, topics that need addressing but are never addressed.
We need more FUQs in our lives!
