This Much You Know: What You Can Learn From My Desk

Is the saying clean desk, dirty mind? No, that can’t be right. Cluttered desk, cluttered mind? Anyway, the cubicle space is a revealing one. There is intimacy there, a cocoon. I rather prefer the idea of hotdesking, because it gets me into new thinking / domains, but this is what I have, and I have sat there for probably 4 years.

I am interesting in the intimate reveal. In a business setting, that is much more powerful than the crafted speech and show of power. I want to work on this – it has power.

I was reading an article today about advocacy, and the need to make communications personal for others to act on your behalf. This is a person-to-person focus of mine.
