I sent a newsletter out this week. Something new here, nothing new in itself. Just an attempt to connect the dots differently for people around the organization. It took me a few hours to work through the logistics, but I had 3-4 different, new, insightful conversations with people because I needed help, and was trying to help others in return.

Once sent, I got a couple of people, new to me, reaching out saying, along the lines of, “Yes. This is what we need. I have stories to share.” Edition 2 is already in beta, after far less effort. I feel more connected, we are sharing more across departments.

Small experiments, lightly promised. These are the seeds of change and emergent community. I am testing out the next iteration of external communications too. Let’s see what happens.
