    The challenge for most companies is not the lack of resources but the excess of them. The right constraints accelerates.

    Work Is Learning; And Learning Is The Work

    Looking For Work

    I constantly return to these advice. What would you say is needed to implement Dee Hock’s hiring advice in your orga… http://lnkd.in/b_XubKd

  33.
    Hire and promote:

    – first on the basis of integrity;
    – second, motivation;
    – third, capacity;
    – fourth, understanding;
    – fifth, knowledge; and
    – last and least, experience.

    Without integrity, motivation is dangerous;
    without motivation, capacity is impotent;
    without capacity, understanding is limited;
    without understanding, knowledge is meaningless;
    without knowledge, experience is blind.
    Experience is easy to provide and quickly put to good use by people with all the other qualities.

    Personal Branding

  37.
    “Machines are for (cheap) answers; humans are for questions. Having great Qs will be where all the value is.” KK  http://www.edge.org/conversation/the-technium
